London calling // Harry & Ginny

“Ready” Ginny replied with a smile when Harry asked her if she was ready to apparate. She was excited to get out of the castle, but there was also a little, nagging part of her that was nervous to find out how she would feel once they were away from the castle, when they were no longer under the influence of the spell. She knew what they had was more than just sex, but what if that was also just the spell? Or even worse, what if Harry realized it was always just the spell for him, and she’d be stuck loving him by herself as if she was eleven years old again?
She had kept her eyes shut when apparating, and didn’t open them just yet when she felt solid ground beneath her feet. When Harry spoke, Ginny slowly opened her eyes, her heart leaping when he found her smiling down at her. She knew she was being stupid, but when it came to Harry, she just couldn’t help herself.
Taking a few steps forward, Ginny peeked around the corner of the alley they were standing in, her smile widening when she saw people rushing by in a busy shopping street.
Grabbing Harry’s hand, Ginny pulled him into the street, standing still for a moment to take it all in, but she quickly realized that this was not a convenient place to stand still. Still holding on to Harry’s hand tightly, Ginny started walking, straining her neck to take in as much as she possibly could. “What do you want to do?” She asked him, pulling him into a somewhat empty corner where they wouldn’t be in anyones way. “Find the hotel and drop off our bags?” she suggested, hoisting her bag up onto her shoulder where it had started slipping off.
The first thing Harry noticed was how clear his head was. It was the first time in months where he could look at Ginny and not want to rip her clothes off. He smiled when she pulled him out onto the busy side walk. Since it was her first time in Muggle London, he decided to let her take the lead with this trip. He smelled food cooking from the restaurant across the way and his stomach rumbled, reminding him that he hadn’t ate breakfast yet.
“Or we could have breakfast.” Harry said nodding towards the restaurant .
